If I add videos to my cart, I can click "Save for later", and I've tended to use this as a wishlist. However, I recently had a hard drive crash, so I had to reinstall Windows. When I logged back into the forum, my "Save for later" list was empty. (I vaguely recall something similar happening a while back, when I upgraded to a newer version of Windows.)
That implies that the "Save for later" list is stored on my hard drive, maybe inside a cookie? I think it would be better for it to be stored on the server (linked to my account), similar to the way it works on Amazon.

It's a hybrid and works both ways. We use cookies so you can shop even before logging in or registering for an account. But once you have an account, it's remembered there as well. If you contact me, I can work with you on maybe restoring a past cart.
